Reasons for the new design of HTPC
1000 & 5000
Based on the
success of older version HTPC 200, 280 & 288, we want to combined all the
great features into the new generation model, which include:
-
Aluminum
panel with a clean look and behind door connection ports
-
More hard
drive spaces (4) to meet the increased data storage needs
-
Support full
height / length PCI devices and video graphic card, no wiser
card needed, no blocking with optical drive or hard drive
-
Excellent air
flow design and quiet fans to keep the noise and heat low
-
At the mean
time, maintain the compact size of the chassis. Especially
the depth (no digging hole on the back of your rack). 17"
wide is the standard AV box size, but it is an amazing thing
to support all standard PC components in a 5.1" (H) and
15.4" (D) chassis
-
Easy
Installation. Intelligent design of architecture to simplify
your installation as easy as 1-2-3. Click on the user guide
for more detail.
Note:
HTPC 1000 & 5000 chassis infrastructures are the same except
the front panel design and material
Full functions front media input module
We want to
serve all your new digital media needs upfront (without
having our end users to turn around the entire case to find
connection ports on the back). All our new models will offer
you:
Offer an
affordable stylish AV looking case
Again, we achieve the
best balances on size, functions, cost and simple design. It
looks like a AV device, definitely not a PC, not even close.
FAQ
There is a protected film cover
on the surface of the black acrylic face,
use nail to tear off the film cover, you will see the glassy
acrylic face
Most of the
HTPC users will feel annoying if the light is bright and
flashing in the entertainment room (which is normally dark).
So, we dim the light with some paint on the panel.
No. It is the
main power button. It is just a cosmetic design to make the
case look like an A/V box.
